This text contains some reactions on some
questions that were asked some weeks ago,
but better late than never :).
SKID asked for artists (for his games I presume).
Well, besides programming in AMOSPro V2 I can make
music in OCTAMed (and if needed convert it to
protracker). So if anyone needs some songs,
just ask me :).
Also, someone asked whether it was true that there is an
Amiga version of Quake. Well, it's indeed true. Actually
I saw it on a BBS some weeks before it appeared in the
Amiga Magazines. As you probably have read, it's converted
to the Amiga by a hacker so it's not sold by a company :(.
It consists of 4 lha archives of 2 megs. To run the game
you'll need an AGA Amiga, a 030 and 8 megs of memory.
To run it on a decent speed you'll need a
Cybergraphics card and a 040.
I havn't tried Amiga Quake because I've only got 6 mb of
RAM, but the sysop of the BBS I found it on ensured me
that it looked and played the same as the PC version.
Last but not least, to the people that live in Holland
(or do not mind driving a long distance ;)); there will be
small gameparty for Amiga's and PC's that I'll be going to.
(last year the were about 65 people)...
It will be held in June and the city it will be held in
is Haaksbergen. So if you want to know more about it look
at the drome party homepage: http://www.drome.demon.nl
or just email questions to me, because
I know some of the organisers.
